About the enACTIVATE Series
The enACTIVATE series is comprised of two programs: the Incubator program and the Accelerator program.
The Incubator program serves as a summer internship and allows for candidates to work in teams or as individuals to tackle various social issues and develop solutions through the creation of a social enterprise. Incubator incorporates a design-thinking paradigm to facilitate the team's journey towards a solution. The internship runs across four weeks, during the month of February. Successful teams will have the chance to join the Enactus Macquarie portfolio as Active Members and actualise their social enterprise.
The Accelerator program serves as a pitch competition where candidates are placed in teams to tackle issues faced by existing social enterprises and pitch solutions to a panel of judges. Teams will be guided by an exclusive course on enterprise problem solving. This competition runs across two weekends in November and December, respectively. Individuals of the competition may be chosen to join the Enactus Macquarie portfolio as an Active Member.
Both programs offer the following:
Empower students to work in teams, or as individuals, to problem solve and develop solutions for social issues or social enterprises
Gain relevant skills such as teamwork, public speaking, problem solving, pitching, and consulting
Work with passionate, like-minded students
Have the chance to join the Enactus Macquarie team
