A Show of Excellence

On the 4th - 7th of July 2023, Enactus Macquarie travelled to Melbourne to compete in the Enactus Australia National Championships at Monash University. Enactus Australia provided us with the opportunity to meet other like-minded social enterprises where they presented their various projects. We also had the opportunity to attend workshops by CISRO and Coca-Cola. These workshops were inspiring allowing us to foster new ideas that could be used for our projects. Across the three days, we were also given the opportunity to meet like-minded university students from across Australia.

Our team had the ability to showcase our enterprise 'Peerlink' demonstrating our dedication to improving mental health in year 12 students. It was interesting to see the wide variety of projects presented by the different universities across Australia. Enactus Macquarie made it to the finals along with Enactus QUT and Enactus Melbourne with Monash University winning the nationals competition.

Overall, it was an amazing experience and Enactus Macquarie looks forward to competing in Melbourne again next year.
