Enactus & Friends Provide Food Boxes for MQ Uni Students

It has been a rainy and cold weekend, but that has not stopped us from making a difference.

Today, we had the honour of working with the wonderful individuals from Macquarie University Sustainability Squad, Macquarie University Philanthropy Club and Macquarie University Global Health Society - MUGHS in creating fresh fruit and vegetable boxes for the students at Macquarie University Village.

We felt compelled to create these boxes after hearing some of the stories of the students who are currently struggling during this pandemic due to the loss of their jobs and the lack of support. These boxes consists of a balance between fruit and vegetables (and soup!) so that the students can consume a more nutritious meal during this crisis. There is even a link access to our Peerlink Chill Zone for students to hang out and participate in some activities during quarantine :)

Thank you to everyone who was involved in this whole process, we are very proud of you all!

Keep an eye out for these goodie boxes if you are living at the Village

We hope you all stay safe, happy and healthy during this period!
